I am a New York-based producer with credits in independent feature film, movies, series and documentaries for television, and a background in live theater.

I formed Tashtego Films with Margaret Whitton and Warren Spector, based on the the idea that great storytelling has the power to transform individuals and societies. The Tashtego Films site is here.

I've spent a lot of my career going back and forth between theater and film/TV. I was Associate Producer at The Public Theater under George C. Wolfe for the last few years of his tenure, and I also worked at The Public early in my career.

I worked at Thirteen/WNET for several years where I produced for PBS, focusing on adaptation of plays and musicals as well as arts documentaries. I also produced a film adaptation of The Exonerated for cable. I've always loved the writers, actors and directors that come from the theater -- and I've spent a lot of my time focusing on that territory.
